又有两名中国公民因 #签证过期 在塔威塔威省被捕
菲律宾警方8月18日通报，#两名中国公民因持过期签证被捕。事件发生在8月15日，地点是塔威塔威省马普恩港的检查站。
菲律宾国家警察海事大队表示，两人的签证早在2022年12月11日就已过期，#身份信息也在移民局中央系统中得到确认。根据《1940年菲律宾移民法》，两人涉嫌逾期居留。
目前，他们正由第一特种作战部队马普恩特种船员看管，等待移交至三宝颜市移民局进一步处理。马普恩是苏禄海上的岛屿自治市，毗邻马来西亚，因其特殊地理位置备受关注。
