印尼移民工人保护部长阿卜杜勒·卡迪尔·卡丁称，根据媒体报道：至少有80000名印尼公民在柬埔寨从事网赌电诈等非法工作。
卡丁说，以往印尼人主要前往沙特、马来西亚、香港和台湾工作。但现在，我们看到了一种新趋势，越来越多的印尼人前往柬埔寨和缅甸，而大多数人都与网络赌博和诈骗有关。
