金边超2.5万人感染艾滋病
2024年，金边艾滋病新增确诊人数共有1281人，导致金边感染艾滋病人数升至25094人（女9986人）。
目前，上述2.5万多名艾滋病患者正在接受治疗。
国务部长兼国家艾滋病管理局主席英莫利曾表示，根据2022年和2023年的评估，柬埔寨共有超过7万人携带艾滋病毒。
他说，柬埔寨每年新增1400名患者，每日平均约4人确诊。新增患者中，约42%的人年龄介于15岁至24岁，尤其是男同性恋。
目前，柬埔寨全国人口1728万，艾滋感染率约为0.4%。
