菲律宾民航局（CAAP）提醒旅客，所有机场都严禁开“炸弹玩笑”。民航局于4月16日在一份旅游提醒中表示：“随着圣周出行高峰的到来，请记住：根据第1727号总统令，开炸弹玩笑或发布虚假炸弹威胁属于刑事犯罪。该罪名最高可处五年监禁、四万披索罚款，或两者并罚。”
民航局强调说：“请大家共同维护机场安全，确保所有乘客顺利出行。言行需谨慎，有些‘玩笑’可能带来严重后果。”
